Top 5 editor Bess Auer and SwimmerJoe caught the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, braving crowds at the Plaza Cinema in Downtown Orlando.

What a delightful theater! Convenient parking garage parking attached (and the theater validates), and the theater itself is clean and modern. And, best of all are the great refreshments ranging from sodas, beer, and wine to yummy food! 12 theaters were showing the 12:01 am debut of the final Harry Potter installment, many of the theaters in 3D.

The movie did not disappoint and the crowd’s energy was palpable. Extending past the theaters around the country, even the movie’s stars can’t seem to get enough. The Weasley twins were recently in town and yesterday Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) showed up at Universal Studios.

So, while we may be sad about the final chapter of an incredible series, at least here in Orlando we can relive the experience quite often at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
