ORLANDO GETS A SECOND SHOT AT BEING THE POP CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

Last year, the Orlando-based event reached over 14 million people by bringing in YouTube’s top stars to perform. This year, the organizers will be streaming the entire event online for the world to see, putting Orlando back in the limelight and providing the companies that sponsor the event with unprecedented exposure. Orlando gets its second swing at fame and companies that decide to play along are guaranteed a homerun.

Today’s super stars are found online, thanks to social networking sites such as YouTube, where anyone can post their own home videos to promote their talents to anyone that may be watching. Due to this instant access to the world’s talent, record labels no longer travel the globe searching for the next big thing.

Until recently, this new technology had turned Orlando’s pop business bankrupt, but three enterprising young men have decided to change that. Alex Tchekmeian, Kevin Khandjian and Jared Mendelewicz, heads of Orlando based AKT Enterprises; a multi-million dollar international corporation, have organized Orlando’s next shot at hosting and ruling the world of Pop. Playlist Live is quite possibly the world’s largest YouTuber convention. Over 150 of YouTube’s most famous personalities will be present and performing for a crowd of fans so faithful and charged you would think Bieber was in town.
