“The one and only Gastro-Truck, Home of Cheesy Goodness, is for sale.  Don’t cry for us, Cheese-Fans!  It was a Great Wild Ride!  A Year of Big Dreams and Yummy Food and meeting the Most Wonderful People in the World – our Customers and our Co-Conspirator Food Truckers! 

We plan on being out for most of July at all the Usual Places – come by and get your last Fix of Mac&Cheese and other Cheesy Goodness.  If you can dig out your Original Cheezer Button, get a Free Drink with Purchase of a Sandwich.

From Generator Problems our very first Official Day at The Now-Famous Apopka Food Truck Round-Up [our thanks to the Firemen that responded]…  to the Lady that very excitedly grabbed my arm as I walked up to the truck and told me Gastro-Truck has the Best Mac&Cheese Ever!

From Friends and Family near and far that chipped in to Help wherever and however they could… to Complete Psycho Strangers who argued about whether the Bread on their Sandwich was really Focaccia and insisted we take said description off the written Menu on our truck before we could get back to Cooking for Our Real Customers – Olde Hearth Bread Company will Vouch for Us!

Speaking of, from great Suppliers like Olde Hearth Bread Company  who make wonderful Artisanal product and make it a pleasure to Work with them… to some convenience store owners who think their Ice is so special they can Charge Double

From Bloggers and Foodies who Proclaimed our Food Delicious and our Truck Beautiful… to the Woman who Complained that our Butterkase Cheese, Cranberry-Jalapeno Spread and Prosciutto on Brioche was just Grilled Ham and Cheese and should be cheaper.

From Passing Out from Heat Stroke in the Fashion Square parking lot [our thanks to the Firemen that responded]… to Joey and Alex and Alex and Lisa and Thomas all the other food truckers that form the Heart of the Food Truck Community and help us and commiserate with us…  to the Bankers that interrupted Real Customers so they could try to sell us their OverPriced credit card processing deal
