A Polar Plunge is a Plunge into cold water to raise money for Special Olympics!

Most U.S. Special Olympics programs host Polar Plunges and they raise millions of dollars each year for Special Olympics athletes. Here in Florida, we Plunge into the chilled-down wave pool at Aquatica, SeaWorld’s waterpark. Download the Fact Sheet!

In the past three years, more than 1,200 brave people have taken the Plunge and raised over $450,000!!! This is your official invitation to take the Plunge with me in 2013 and help us set a new fundraising record.

Here’s how it works: Register online at www.PlungeFL.org. It took me 5 minutes.

Create your personal giving webpage. Invite friends and family to sponsor your Plunge. In order to Plunge, you have to raise $100. You can bring two spectators to cheer you on. You also get the official commerative T-Shirt and an All Day Food Pass. Here is where it gets exciting… As you raise more money, you earn incentives.

The 2013 Incentives Package is amazing. Earn park tickets to Aquatica, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, where you swim with the dolphins. View Incentives!
