Junior Achievement of Central Florida will host the 35th Annual Mid-Florida Business Hall of Fame on Wednesday, November 14 at the Rosen Centre Hotel on International Drive. The event recognizes the achievements of prominent business leaders who have made extraordinary contributions to the Central Florida community.
This year’s laureates include: Toni Jennings, first female Lieutenant Governor of Florida as well as Joe R. Lee, former chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Darden Restaurants, Inc. and Leonard E. Williams, chief executive officer of Wayne Densch, Inc.
In addition, former Florida Senator Mel Martinez, chairman of the southeast and Latin America for JPMorgan Chase & Co. and chairman of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, will receive this year’s Spirit of Achievement award – an honor presented annually to an exceptional business and civic leader who is making a difference in the community.
“The commitment of these honorees has undoubtedly had a positive influence in the Central Floridacommunity,” said Craig Polejes, president of Junior Achievement of Central Florida. “We are honored to recognize them for their years of leadership and service.”
