Restaurateur industry veteran Alan Palmieri was searching for his next career opportunity when he discovered Marlow’s Tavern. After retiring from Darden Restaurants, Inc., where he was executive vice president of operations in the Specialty Restaurant Group, Palmieri knew that Marlow’s was what he had been looking for – the perfect neighborhood restaurant to serve his family, friends and theOrlando community. As a longtimeOrlando resident with 37 years of restaurant experience, Palmieri knows that Marlow’s Tavern is a perfect fit for the community. Palmieri will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and future development of theOrlando market.

Marlow’s Tavern features the “best of the best” in classic American tavern fare, served in a modern atmosphere. The menus, created by Executive Chef and Co-founder John C. Metz, offer a diverse combination of classic dishes that are updated and elevated to a gourmet level. The beverage menu includes a wide variety of wines from around the world – all available by the glass – and a hand-crafted cocktail program that combines fresh juices and specialty, small batch liquors in an innovative and approachable way. The beer list is unique and varied, featuring local favorites, craft and import offerings by the bottle and on draft. “We wanted to take the classic tavern fare and reinvent it for the 21st century for our guests by using seasonal, local and regional ingredients,” says Metz of how he created the Marlow’s food and beverage menus.
