The 11th Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival opening this week at Mad Cow Theatre! Opens April 25th and runs through May 12th, 2013
Mad Cow Theatre plays host to over 40 performances of jazz, pop, Broadway, comedy, and a few surprises that will feature many of Central Florida’s favorite artists along with seven Cabaret artists from around the country.
Mitzi Maxwell, Mad Cow Theatre’s Executive Director says, “One of my favorite parts of the Orlando Cabaret Festival is showcasing the work of local artists. In Central Florida, we have some of the most talented performers in the country who we invite to take the stage with their original acts during the festival. It’s always a joy to see them perform!”
Beloved local artists Janine Klien, Laura Hodos, Melissa Minyard, and Trevor Southworth join the Orlando Cabaret Festival lineup with their own original show. These talented performers will be seen among our evening line up as well as during the always popular, Out to Lunch series where you can enjoy a fabulous show and delicious lunch right in the middle of the day!
Laura Hodos joins the Orlando Cabaret Festival again this year performing Never Gonna Get it – Laura sings songs from the roles she’ll never play, the parts she didn’t get, and the shows that passed her by!
