Coming for Special Screening in Orlando May 22

Innovatively Connecting Ambitious Women ® in Orlando

Miss Representation, winner of Outstanding Documentary at the 2012 Gracie Allen Awards, is coming to Central Florida for a special screening, Wednesday May 22, 2013, at Urban ReThink, 625 E. Central Boulevard, in downtown Orlando.

Miss Representation explores how the media’s misrepresentations of women have led to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence.

The event is being made possible by FemCity Orlando and Women in Film and Television. The screening begins at 6 p.m. Colleen Burns from Yelp Orlando will be the evening’s Mistress of Ceremonies, introducing the film and leading the post-film discussion.

Tickets are $10; $5 for FemCity and/or Women in Film and Television members. There is limited space for this event; purchase ticket(s) to secure a seat. Ticket includes a swag bag and wine.
