Orlando native and two-time Super Bowl Champion Max Starks is continuing his long-term commitment to Central Florida community service with his annual weekend of charitable festivities this weekend in Orlando. You’ll find a full press release attached.
On Saturday June 8th, Starks will host his 7th Annual NCAA Youth Football Camp presented by your Southern Ford Dealers from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Florida Citrus Bowl (Thunder Field) located at 1610 W. Church Street.
Participation is FREE for girls and boys 7 to 14 years of age. The camp incorporates education, literacy and the fundamentals of every football position.
During the camp, the Southern Ford Dealers will host an interactive test drive experience for parents, spectators and the general public (ages 21 and up). Your Southern Ford Dealers have agreed to donate $20 for every test drive up to $5,000 to the Max Starks Charitable Fund. Pretty Cool!
The weekend of fun concludes Saturday evening with a “Heroes For Literacy Bowl-A-Thon” co-hosted by Max Starks and ESPN TV Analyst Jemele Hill. The event will be held at KINGS Bowl located at 8255 South International Drive (Suite 200) from 9 p.m. to 2.a.m. Admission is free to attend, $7 per game to bowl and shoe rental is $3 per person. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Super Hero t-shirt or outfit to support the cause. All guests must be 21-years-old to attend.
