The Enterprise Zone program was established in 1982 by the State of Florida to encourage the retention and expansion of businesses within designated areas. The Enterprise Zone is a geographic area defined by the City of Orlando and Orange County, and certified by the State of Florida, that is eligible for tax incentives and other benefits. The 16.8-square-mile EZ4801 zone includes portions of the City of Orlando, the Town of Eatonville and unincorporated Orange County.
