TASTE OF THE NATION ORLANDO! Raise a Glass at Eola Wine Company To End Childhood Hunger

Taste of the Nation Orlando’s childhood hunger relief efforts will flow like wine at  a series of weekly wine tasting events at Eola Wine Company, 430 East Central Blvd, downtown Orlando.

Running from July 10 – Aug. 7., Eola Wine Company’s wine tastings benefitting Taste of the Nation Orlando take place 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. each Wednesday and are open to the public. Guests are invited to enjoy unlimited wines by the glass for a $10 donation. A glass or two of wine helps fund the feeding programs of Taste of the Nation’s two beneficiaries, Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

The weekly wine series is being hosted by Eola Wine Company for the first time to generate awareness for this year’s Taste of the Nation event and raise money toward the nonprofit’s $300,000 fundraising goal. Taste of the Nation Orlando, an annual culinary fundraising event that takes place at Orlando World Center Marriott, returns Aug. 10 showcasing the talent and creativity of Central Florida’s leading chefs and restaurants. Taste of the Nation Orlando offers an evening of exquisite appetizers, entrees and desserts complemented by silent and live auctions and entertainment.

Some of this year’s participating chefs and restaurants include Cress Restaurant, Crave, Fogo de Chao, JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, Orlando World Center Marriott, Red Wing Restaurant, The Capital Grille, Sushi House Orlando, The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder. Tickets to Taste of the Nation Orlando can be purchased at Eola Wine Company for $150 per person at its Wednesday wine tasting events or online at tasteteofthenation.org/Orlando.
