Orlando’s Urban Think Foundation seeks to fundraise $30,000 in 30 days during December, 2013

Mission 30k30d for Orlando!

Since 2008, the Urban Think Foundation has brought Orlando creative, educational, and culture-building programs like Page 15 and Burrow Press, as well as the recently closed Urban ReThink.  This holiday season, the Foundation is presenting the community with an assortment of holiday gifts and giving options, with a goal of raising $30,000 in 30 days during December to go back into their mission of building Orlando’s creative profile: Mission 30k30d for Orlando.

“We’re raising $30,000 in 30 days; $1,000 a day for the entire month of December.  We’re looking to Orlando citizens for help!” Says Foundation Executive Director, Shaina Anderson. “Our programs are for Orlando, often by Orlando citizens, and always meant to provide opportunities for forward-thinking about our city. It’s our job to adapt to our changing city, and this campaign is the fuel we need to move forward.”

Ways to help Mission 30k30d:

Make a cash donation of any amount.     Any donation to the 501c3 nonprofit is tax-deductible, and your money goes     directly into our mission of creative, educational, and culture-building programs for Orlando. www.urbanthinkfoundation.org/donate

Support a Page 15 Imagination Care Kit.     On December 17, the Foundation is giving 525 at-risk Orlando students each     a kit to take home over the holidays – filled with a book to dig into, a  pair of cozy socks, a flashlight for late-night reading, and a message of encouragement. $25 sponsors 1 kit; $500 sponsors a classroom. Page 15 believes a lifelong love of reading can take a child anywhere, and we do our part throughout the year to give the gift of imagination for free. Imagination lights the way! www.page15.org/imagination
