Central Florida’s Fun and Philanthropic Night of Fashion Returns With Proceeds to Benefit Guys With Ties Philanthropy of Orlando
Guys With Ties of Orlando annual “Spring Fashion Show” returns Saturday, May 17 at 180 Grey Goose Lounge at the Amway Center in Downtown Orlando from 8pm-11pm. Orlando Magic Dancer Cori Yarkin will take the stage as Emcee with DJ A-Rock spinning, creative direction by Studio|Couture and strings sensation Fretless Rock starting the show. This year’s Spring Fashion Show proceeds benefit Guys With Ties Philanthropy of Orlando, who have been hosting themed events for nearly ten years to raise funds for numerous local charities in the Central Florida community.
“Guys With Ties Spring Fashion Show is the premiere kick-off event for Guys with Ties exciting, eventful year,” says GWT President and Event Chair JR Tanghal. “Guys With Ties puts the fun into fundraising – and this year’s event will feature an exciting fashion show modeled by Orlando Magic Dancers showcasing the city’s hottest apparel from boutiques like Lauren Nicole, Downtown Divas, 69 Slam and more sure to get people in the mood for the spring fashion season.”
Guys With Ties of Orlando, a non-profit organization, was founded in Orlando in 2005 by eight young professional men committed to making a difference within the community. Now 12 board members strong, their mission is to partner and raise money with local charities that focus on special needs of the Central Florida community by planning exciting, themed parties throughout the year. The Board of Directors includes lawyers, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs and sales executives. Their common bond is the will to give back to the community that has given so much to each of them. They put the fun back in fundraising! Total donations made directly from Guys with Ties events are over $200,000.
