Community Event Helps Raise Food and Funds in a Race to End Childhood Hunger

The Halloween Hustle 5K Race to End Childhood Hunger is one of the fastest growing races in Orlando and will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23 in Baldwin Park. Wear a costume, bring your Halloween spirit and get ready to enjoy a night of fun! The frightening festivities includes live entertainment, food trucks, drinks, trick-or-treating, carnival games and more. Funds raised will support the Junior League of Greater Orlando’s core cause of childhood health, hunger and poverty benefiting community programs in those areas.

5:45 p.m. Kids’ Fun Run (children 12 & under)

6:30 p.m. 5k Run/Walk

WHERE:         Baldwin Park on the corner of New Broad Street and Lake Baldwin Lane

WHO:             Live entertainment, food, drinks, trick-or-treating, carnival games and face painting photo opportunities.

Junior League of Greater Orlando volunteers available for interviews.

Second Harvest Foodbank of Central Florida onsite collecting canned goods.
