ArtHistoryMaitland_Sanctuary

Sunday, March 29, visitors can view the stunning large-format visuals of Clyde Butcher Nature’s Places of Spiritual Sanctuary while enjoying live musical performances by members of the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park Orchestra. This weekend’s collaboration marks the end of Art 31: Sanctuary hosted by Art & History Museums – Maitland

Art31 was a month of collaboration and experimentation focused on the creation of new art, and the Art & History Museums’ commitment to engaging guests as both observers and participants. The backdrop for Art 31 was set by nationally known, award-winning photographer Clyde Butcher’s series Nature’s Places of Spiritual Sanctuary. Referred to as the Ansel Adams of the Everglades, the majestic beauty of Clyde Butcher’s photographs have earned him recognition as the foremost landscape photographic artist in America today.

Scoot on over to Maitland and check out these awesome images enhanced by live music Sunday, March 29, 2015, between  11 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Tickets are only $3 for adults, $2 Students & Seniors, and Free for A&H members.
