6th Annual All-American Heritage Picnic
April 22 @ 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM| Free
It’s FREE…no cost, just drive your old car and bring a dish that represents your family heritage. That’s why we call it an All-American Heritage Picnic!
Most of our family histories originate from countries outside of the USA, which makes us an interesting melting pot of cultures. Of course, if your family settled Kentucky, you can bring a bucket of KFC, but we vote on the most interesting dishes, so think original!
This picnic is fun and different because of the multicultural foods, and the love of cars, that bring us together and give us the opportunity to know one another better. Add a note-card if you can on the significance of the recipe to your family for fun.
Car enthusiasts from all around are invited. So feel free to pass the word along to your car club friends. We ask for your RSVP on what car you will bring, what food you will bring and how many people are coming. We supply the drinks and cutlery.
Please Email RSVP to: Joanne@OldWheel.com
Last year we had over 18 countries represented, and live entertainment. Kids and Pets are welcome. Feel free to bring your gazebo and chairs; we have plenty of space on the property for people to spread out and relax.
We will have awards for the People’s Choice Car (last year’s winner was Howie Mednick’s 1933 Buick), People’s Choice Food (last year’s winner was Pam Prince’s Banana Pudding), and a 50/50 pot benefiting Shriner’s
Hospital for Children, as well as plenty of chances to win $$Million$$ in our Car Trivia Games.
