ORLANDO, FLORIDA [December 15, 2014] – After igniting a Twitter frenzy, the official dates have been announced for Grammy®-nominated Iggy Azalea’s The Great Escape Tour, presented by AEG Live. Joining Azalea on tour is multi-talented recording artist and actor, Nick Jonas, as special guest. Also joining as support acts are R&B/hip-hop favorites, Tinashe and DJ Wizz Kidd. One of the most highly-anticipated tours of the year, The Great Escape Tour will travel across North America, beginning April 14 in Fresno, CA and make stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, Chicago and Orlando’s Amway Center on Friday, May 15. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m.

After years of honing her signature style on hip-hop’s underground circuit, Azalea burst onto the charts with her critically-acclaimed debut album, “The New Classic,” and emerged as the breakout story of 2014, with one of the year’s most-streamed albums globally. Island Recording Artist, Nick Jonas announces himself as a brand-new musician on his newly released self-titled, solo debut. Jonas is now is a 22-year-old, multi-talented artist stepping out on his own and reinventing himself after achieving worldwide fame with The Jonas Brothers. The Grammy®-nominated group sold 20 million albums and toured the globe several times over before calling it quits in October 2013. Its youngest member has lived a lot of life in those years and his experiences are reflected on his latest album via Island Records. Between 2012 and 2013, the captivating singer made a name for herself through a series of self-made mix tapes, including 2012’s, “In Case We Die” and “Reverie” and 2013’s, “Black Water.” Tinashe released her debut studio album, “Aquarius” on October 7 via RCA Records to unanimous critical-acclaim, with everybody from The New York Times to Pitchfork, Vogue, and beyond dubbing it a highly significant, genre-bending debut. “Aquarius,” which Tinashe co-produced, continues to receive attention across the board, appearing on many 2014 year-end best-of lists, from The FADER to Complex and beyond. Los Angeles native DJ Wizz Kidd has played all over the world working alongside Iggy Azalea as her official tour DJ.
