The First Road to Orlando

May 14, 2016 @ 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

| Free

A 28-mile dirt trail had served American Indians, the US Military, government surveyors, and the earliest settlers for nearly 40 years before the first trains began running. Richard Lee Cronin, author of First Road to Orlando, will share the true story of how the earliest Central Florida towns, including the 1857 Town of Orlando, came to be. A book sale and signing will follow the talk.
