Winter Park Playhouse: Life Could Be A Dream

The Winter Park Playhouse continues to delight audiences with their latest hit in a series of professional musicals with the Florida premiere of Life Could Be A Dream, a high-energy jukebox musical comedy set in the early 1960’s. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2:00p.m. and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2:00p.m.
Audiences will be tapping their toes as they are treated to this upbeat musical featuring the tight harmonies a four man doo-wop group trying to make it big on the Big Whopper radio contest. Packed with all of the popular early 60’s hits “Tears On My Pillow,” “Earth Angel,” “Fools Fall In Love, ” “Runaround Sue,” “Unchained Melody” and more. Life Could Be A Dream will leave you laughing, singing and cheering – let’s hear it for the boys!
The professional cast includes Tay Anderson, Andrew LaJeune, Zach Nadolski, Bert Rodriguez and Michael Scott Ross. Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan will direct and choreograph the production and Christopher Leavy will music direct. The Playhouse Trio will accompany the show, with Musical Director Christopher Leavy on piano, Sam Forrest on percussion and Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments.
