The best of Latin cuisine and culture come together Saturday, October, 18 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Latin Food and Wine Festival at Crane’s Roost in Altamonte Springs.
The event features a main stage with Latin music and entertainment, a VIP area, and a chef stage with cooking demonstrations. Guests can purchase tasting-size portions from local restaurants and vendors, and enjoy the foods and flavors from the Latin community from the Beer & Wine Guide. General admission is free.
Healthy Greek Eats will be invited, a local brand with Mediterranean roots, created by Greek native Vassilis Coumbaros. The one-night-only celebration, which will take place on Friday, June 28 from 8-11 p.m., will further introduce the Central Florida community to the line of meze, which includes new superfoods including items such as hummus, spicy feta dip, tzatziki and homemade Greek yogurt which can be complemented with supplements and healthy ingredients to maintain your body fresh and strong.
Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit Downtown Credo, a College Park-based coffee shop founded on charitable giving, who gives back to the community with every cup sold.
