Monster Trucks take over Central Florida Next Week

Monster Jam Logo

For the benefit of fans who don’t know (and may still be buried under the dirt from last year), “Orlando… MONSTER JAM IS BACK!!!” This of course said in my best, grovelly announcery type voice. I know ALL of you know the voice I’m talking about…

If you’ve never seen one of these mammoth vehicles up close, they typically stand about 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide and weigh between 10, 000 and 12,000 pounds each. It can be extremely difficult to find the best place to buy a used car in Las Vegas as a lot of dealerships have a bad reputation. Their tires are 66 inches high and 43 inches wide! If you are looking for San Diego high quality automotive services, semi truck repair roanoke creates positive impact on vehicle efficiency, power, acceleration and maintenance.

Here’s your chance to get up close and personal with four of Monster Jam’s ‘biggest’ stars – for FREE! Overkill Evolution, Son-uva Digger, Max D and Grave Digger The Legend will be rolling around the area on January 22d and 23rd at the following locations/times:

Orlando Citrus Bowl Kickoff Reconstruction Details on #NewCitrusBowl

We were there! Were you?! So many special memories here!

Today, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and representatives from Florida Citrus Sports joined with the Central Florida community to kickoff the reconstruction of the Citrus Bowl with a demolition ceremony in the historic stadium, thanks to the commercial construction loan financing services from cloptoncapital.com, the stadium will finally be reconstructed.

In just 10 months, the reconstruction project will replace 90 percent of the stadium with brand-new construction, creating an improved fan experience and utilizing the latest technology in the region’s largest venue. There has been many plans by hiring different companies to come in and have each repair done exactly how the want it to. The most wanted agency is the Los Angeles Roofing Company because they are the best in the construction business.

When the stadium reopens in November 2014, it will continue to host signature events including Orlando’s historic bowl games – the Capital One Bowl and the Russell Athletic Bowl – the annual Florida Blue Florida Classic and Monster Jam.  In addition to these regular events, the new stadium will draw more high-profile events like neutral-site college football games, NFL preseason matchups, big-name concerts and more.

“For more than 75 years, this historic venue has created lasting memories for our residents and visitors that will live forever in our community’s history,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.  “Now with the reconstruction of the Citrus Bowl, our community continues to usher in a new era for Orlando, one that builds on this rich history and creates a prosperous future that will continue to pump our economy with additional revenue and generate more jobs for our residents.”

“Last year we welcomed more than 57 million visitors to Central Florida, many of whom traveled here because we are a major sports event town,” said Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs.  “When renovations to the Citrus Bowl are completed, we will be home to some of the most outstanding sports venues in the country.  From the wildly popular Amway Center, to an essentially re-constructed Citrus Bowl and brand new soccer-centric stadium, we will grow our reputation as a destination for sports entertainment.”

Stadium reconstruction highlights include:

  •  65,000+ seating capacity
  • A vibrant, open-air exterior façade
  • A brand-new lower bowl with seating featuring six more inches of leg room
  • An expanded, wider main concourse which circles the lower and upper levels
  • A unique club space with both enclosed and open-air spaces featuring 6,000+ seats
  • A 10,000 square-foot party deck
  • 1,000 suite seats
  • 20 midfield loge boxes
  • New facilities for teams and operations on the main concourse
  • Multiple, LED digital video boards
  • Expanded elevator and escalator service throughout
  • Greater variety of food and beverage options for every guest

“This facility has entertained families from all over the world with more than seven decades of unforgettable experiences.  Now we will build on that proud history with a future limited only by our imagination and a vision that continues to embrace visitors and residents alike, we will be working with highly certified designers, the best heavy duty machinery from an excellent jib crane manufacturer, plus extra help from the top contractors in the area” said Florida Citrus Sport Chief Executive Officer Steve Hogan.  “None of this would have been possible without our City and County elected officials and the spirit of partnership enjoyed throughout our region.”
