Food Network Star Finalist Emily Ellyn Hosts Fundraiser

Another great event that our friend Emily is working on… We are some  of her Top Fans!

Painting With A Twist Orlando and Food Network Star finalist Emily Ellyn are teaming up to host a fundraiser benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on Sunday, November 25. From 2 – 4 pm, guests can expect to paint their own masterpiece, whilst enjoying a fun afternoon at Orlando’s premier art studio.

“Like cooking, art is another form of creativity and self-expression. I’m excited to partner with Painting With A Twist and support their philosophy of promoting creativity through accessible, and fun means for the novice artist.” Emily Ellyn adds that having 50% of the proceeds benefit a local charity makes the event more meaningful. “Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida has helped so many people in the greater Orlando area and it is an honor to be able to do our bit.”

Anna Perez, owner of Painting With A Twist Orlando couldn’t agree more with Ellyn. “Every month, we host a fundraiser in partnership with a local charity. Painting With a Purpose allows us to give back to our own community. It’s a little bit of paint, alittle bit of wine and a whole lot of fun!”

Cost is $35 per guest and each participant will paint a “Group Therapy” Wine Painting to take home.  50% of event sales will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes donated food to more than 500 nonprofit partner agencies in six Central Florida counties.

Seating for this event is limited and tickets can be purchased online. For more information about this event please email or call 407.601.7800.

Painting With A Twist is a hands-on art venue that combines camaraderie and creativity, allowing guests to create a painting under the direction of an experienced artist during  2 or 3 hour sessions. And, if you want to bring the whole family, kid-themed paintings are scheduled on the weekends. The studio offers both public classes, where the template painting is predetermined, and private parties, where the host selects his or her painting from a database of over 2,000 paintings. The collection is a melange of different styles and topics; some come from Painting With A Twist artists around the country, while others are famous artworks, such as Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” Although pre-sketched canvases are sometimes prepared for the most difficult paintings, most guests start with blank canvases.

The company has nearly 70 locations throughout the United States and is one of the largest employers of local artists in the country. Painting With A Twist Orlando is located at 6700 Conroy-Windermere Road in Orlando.  For more information, please visit
